The conflict straetd with micky being heavily vested in the false idea of marijuana addiction. I dont have to convince you of it.It exists. I see the flesh and blood results of it everyday. Many reputable reliable government studies in cooperation with many universities say it is. Addiction is continuous use to avoid intolerable withdrawal symptoms. I submitted a scientific description of addiction to you that you completely ignored.I have passed the Hawaii state exam on addiction, I am an addict of 30 + years, have worked with addicts and alcoholics for at least 15 at numerous professional facilities across the country. The withdrawals from pot are not life theatening as with opiates or aclcohol, the key ingredients dont assimilate to the cellular structure creating physical dependence but they do have a profound psychological effect that has people making some poor decicisions when they need more.Crack and meth are not likely to give withdrawal symptoms that are nearly as bad as that of alcohol or opiates yet they are just as addictive as anyone knows. So your argument that addiction is based only on the attempt to avoid withdrawal symptoms is sophomoric at bestYou know nothing.

That’s patently false man. This is a diefrefnce of opinion, not of intellectual ability. Try not to make it too personal, that’s all I’m saying. He knows nothing but the text book crap he spews.Addiction is much more that of compulsory behavior than it is a reaction to withdrawals.Almost every addict whos fallen off the wagon will tell, you so.You can be totally sober and still be addicted. You carry the disease for life.If John is right then tell me why after years of sobriety during a time when one has nothing in his system and is suffering no withdrawals they still go get loaded ?He knows nothing

that people like me equtae marijuana to alcohol.Hes a punk, the kind of disengenuous full of crap people that I have no tolerance for.To have your opinion is one thing. But to base your argument on accusations and falsehoods stated as fact that you cannot prove is just plain sleazyHe lies, hes an opportunist in that he demeans the sources that argue his point and supports that same source when it makes his point. He promotes the cause on stupid statements such as pot to be ABSOLUTELY safe and that there are none of the obvious problems seen with pot to worry about. He reminds me of when Ahmajinedad stood in front of the world and said that they have no gays in Iran, his country does not have this problem .Makes me just wanna run up to the podium and b*tch slap the punk.My potty mouth was nothing compared to the insulting nature of his premise. When some refuses to acknowledge posts of mine declaring my position that are time stamped and years old and instead base his argument on a charcterization of me that he pulled out his rump that person is not to be trusted What I find interesting is that the same crowd that voted for pot also voted down gay marriage

they will take part in a debate on WBGO Jazz 88 on Thursday, October 22 at 8pm. But Republican grtbunaeorial nominee Christopher Christie is waiting to see how Corzine responds to debate invitations from League of Women Voters debate for October 16, which would have been broadcast by the New York and Philadelphia ABC affiliate, and from NJ 101.5. Jon Corzine is afraid to debate on a major network affiliate with a large audience but agrees to a debate on a station whose board is stacked with Democrat party loyalists, said Christie strategist Michael DuHaime. He should be willing to go on network if for no other reason than to apologize to as many New Jerseyans as possible for raising income, business and property taxes, taking way property tax rebates and property tax deductions and doubling the unemployment rate. On Election Day, he won't be able to hide behind his money anymore. After Corzine initially refused to participate in New Jersey Network's October 1 debate that was sanctioned by the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC), NJN tried to move it back to October 22, since Corzine indicated he would take part then. That led to ELEC's four commissioners deadlocked along partisan lines, and to Corzine acquiescing to the original date. Christie Campaign Manager Bill Stepien then issued a statement inviting Corzine to debate on the later date, since it appears his schedule is also open for a debate on Oct. 22. While we have agreed to the debate, Christie has not, even after he challenged the governor to debate on that very same date-, said Corzine spokeswoman Elizabeth Smith.WBGO News Director Doug Doyle said that the October 22 date is not final, and that the station is attempting to find a way to accommodate all three candidates. There's nothing official on that on any side, because it's still in the preliminary talks, he said. The Newark-based station reaches the northern half of New Jersey, all five boroughs of New York City and parts of New York State. Doyle said that he will look into partnering up with other public radio stations if he can confirm a date with all three candidates.

Interesting topic even more interesting is onbirvesg the reactions some teens have when it comes to child birth. At this age(teens), having a child should be the last thing on our minds, first before anything should be our education. I see teenage mothers/fathers or mothers/fathers-soon-to-be all the time walking the halls of VHS and I pity them. Either they purposely wanted a child for some bizarre reason or they made some bad choices when it came to contraception. Those are 2 types of teenage pregnancies, now here are the 2 types of teenage parent: either a ghettolicious hot mama and papa whom after high believe to live(mooch) off their parents and/or grandparents until the day they die or decide to contribute to society. Teen Parent number 2 is: the hopeful, ambitious, and smart student who dreams of doing something his/her life and yet one day decided to experiment with sex and ignorantly f%$^ed their lives up. In conclusion, if you are dumb enough to make such a decision such as unsafe sex then you don't need a parental chat you need a reality check, loser. ;]PS; thank you Beth for such a good topic.

Hey, Adam, don't you think the freshwater algrens of SJ would be better served by the State eliminating the trout stocking and focusing instead on enhancing the habitat and numbers of those species more natural to the region, like bass, crappie, and pickeral? Trout (and trout stamps) don't fit in slow-moving, warmer blackwater, except that the State can make a few extra bucks by convincing spring and fall Saturday algrens that they're really fishing with fly-rods and nymphs in the fast moving streamwaters of upstate New York.

Our famous fanny packs come to mind as do clip-on water botlte holders. Walkie-talkies help us when we're hiking or sprawled out across a park. Timers keep my gamers (a little) more under control. Head lamps and light sticks are also a cool addition to our stash for nighttime adventures.
