mss glittery / AbstractBACKGROUND & AIMS: Because the mode of Crohn's disseae inheritance is unknown, age-adjusted risk estimates and knowledge of disseae characteristics will aid genetic counseling and modeling. The aim of this study is to determine the prevalence of familial occurrence of inflammatory bowel disseae in first-degree relatives of patients with Crohn's disseae and estimate their age-adjusted risks. It also evaluates agreement in disseae characteristics between generations within families with a history of Crohn's disseae. METHODS: Six hundred forty patients with Crohn's disseae and 800 control subjects were questioned about the occurrence of inflammatory bowel disseae in their first-degree relatives. Agreement for age at diagnosis, initial disseae location, disseae behavior, and number of bowel resections was determined in 68 families with two or more members affected and compared with data in 100 unrelated patients with Crohn's disseae. RESULTS: Probands with Crohn's disseae had a more frequent positive family history than controls. The age at diagnosis between probands with and without a positive family history was insignificant. Crude and age-adjusted risk elements were higher in relatives of patients, especially daughters, compared with those of controls. The age at diagnosis was older for parents than offspring but similar between siblings. Initial disseae location was especially striking between siblings. CONCLUSIONS: This study confirms familial aggregation and a high degree of disseae concordance in Crohn's disseae. The age at diagnosis and initial disseae location was especially strong within generations. (Gastroenterology 1996 Sep;111(3):597-603)

cheer2012 / David, i actually have Crohn’s Disease. i’m 17 and have had it for 2 years. i have a remidace infusion every other month and it sucks cuz i gotta sit there for 2 hours while it goes into my system plus i HATE needles so its like adding insult to injury for me. i don’t know if your sis has to have an infusion but i found that midol actually helps the inflamation go down a lot, and it might help her. also if i eat spicy food it irritates my stomach so i dont eat anything spicy, i dont like spicy food anyways but i do like somewhat mildly spicy but i find that even the smallest of spicyness hurts and can cause an attack. the pain gets pretty bad that i have to miss school sometimes. a lotta people think i fake it when i get these attacks. there are different types of ways Crohn’s can affect. there are the “can’t go often type” and there is the normal of “going often type”. So on a nicer image i think its so cool that ur being a concerened bro to ur sis, i can tell u love ur fam. u and ur fam will be in my prayers more often than u have. u r an inspiration to me, i’m hard-of-hearing and i love ur music and hope there is another album on the way cuz i would like some more music to memorize how to sign!! i hope that there r more tours soon:D

I don't think Curt would have much of a shot winning any eolctien. Is there anyone out there who actually likes him? For all he did for Boston, still every Boston fan I know doesn't really like him, they just respond to questions with something like, well, I'm really happy for what he helped accomplish for us, but he should shut his mouth because he's an idiot. As for Moose in Hall, I guess it makes sense that he not get in if we look at his peers who will be getting nominated around the same time- Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine, Randy Johnson, Clemens, Pedro. Those are all guys who were incredibly dominant. Moose, as great as he was, just wasn't in that league. While I have never thought much of Glavine, he does have the magic number and that's what counts to get him over the hump. As far as Moose playing on the Orioles in the 90s and Yankees in the 2000s, that's true that that probably helped him get some wins, but it's also true that pitching in the AL East probably took away it's fair share of wins from him. Facing at various times the Sox, Yankees, Orioles, and Blue Jays is not an easy task- far more difficult than playing in other divisions. This is the premier offense division and probably always will be.Side note: if Moose shouldn't get in before Blyleven- should Schilling get in before him? Or before Jack Morris for that matter? Schilling's got the 3000+ strikeouts, but he doesn't have the win total of Moose or Blyleven (who also has more Ks, as do Clemens, the Unit, Maddux, and Pedro). He also has the postseason record, making him similar to Morris. If you put those together does it make him Hall worthy? I don't know. I think right now people think he and Moose should get in, but in five years from now, with some perspective, I think people will answer no.'

Hey, Adam, don't you think the freshwater agrnels of SJ would be better served by the State eliminating the trout stocking and focusing instead on enhancing the habitat and numbers of those species more natural to the region, like bass, crappie, and pickeral? Trout (and trout stamps) don't fit in slow-moving, warmer blackwater, except that the State can make a few extra bucks by convincing spring and fall Saturday agrnels that they're really fishing with fly-rods and nymphs in the fast moving streamwaters of upstate New York.

I want to express my acreapiption to you just for bailing me out of this particular challenge. Because of browsing throughout the internet and seeing proposals that were not beneficial, I assumed my life was done. Being alive without the presence of approaches to the difficulties you have solved by means of the review is a serious case, as well as ones which might have negatively damaged my career if I had not discovered your website. Your main knowledge and kindness in handling all things was vital. I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't encountered such a thing like this. I can at this time look ahead to my future. Thank you so much for the skilled and results-oriented help. I will not be reluctant to propose your web site to anyone who needs guidance about this subject.

I needed to put you the bit of raremk to thank you so much the moment again with your wonderful solutions you've contributed here. This has been extremely open-handed with people like you to present publicly all that many people would have marketed as an ebook to help with making some dough on their own, most notably now that you could have tried it in the event you wanted. Those things also served like the easy way to fully grasp that other individuals have the identical zeal the same as my own to know the truth more with regard to this problem. I am certain there are a lot more fun periods ahead for individuals who scan through your blog.
